Memory Specifications: Supports DDR4 SO-DIMM memory modules (2400 MHz). Maximum supported capacity is 16GB. Ensure modules are compatible with Intel® Gemini Lake platform requirements.
2.5GbE Network Requirements: The Intel® I225 2.5GbE ports require Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables for 2.5Gbps operation. For optimal performance, use quality cables and ensure connected equipment supports 2.5GbE. BYPASS functionality supports two port pairs.
Power Supply Requirements: Use a stable, high-quality DC 12V ±5% power adapter with adequate current capacity. When utilizing all four 2.5GbE ports, 5G module, and storage devices, ensure the power supply can deliver sufficient current (typically 4-6A recommended).
Thermal & Enclosure Design: The fanless design enables sealed enclosure construction. When designing enclosures, ensure adequate thermal mass and consider heat dissipation. For operation at 60°C ambient, thermal management is critical.
Storage Configuration: The SATA 3.0 interface and 2.5″ drive bay are mutually exclusive options – configure based on application needs. The mSATA 3.0 interface provides additional high-speed storage.
