CPU Generation & Compatibility: Supports 6th Gen (Skylake) and 7th Gen (Kaby Lake) U-series processors. Verify CPU compatibility (socket and TDP) before purchase and installation. Note that 8th Gen processors (e.g., i5-8250U) are part of the Kaby Lake Refresh family and require explicit BIOS/board compatibility confirmation.
M.2 Storage Configuration: The M.2 Key-M slot supports both SATA and PCIe (NVMe) SSDs in the 2280 form factor. The slot auto-switches, but ensure your SSD matches the supported interface. Booting from NVMe may require UEFI BIOS and OS support.
