⚠️ Important Notes
Processor & Platform: Features a soldered Intel® Celeron J1900 (Bay Trail). This is an economical, low-power SoC. It is not designed for CPU-intensive tasks. Evaluate your application’s performance requirements before selection.
Fanless Operation is Standard: This board is designed to operate without a fan. For optimal thermal performance in a sealed enclosure, ensure the chassis provides adequate passive heatsinking (e.g., metal case acting as a heatsink) and is sized appropriately for the ambient temperature range.
Memory Compatibility: Supports DDR3L (1.35V) SO-DIMM modules only. Standard 1.5V DDR3 modules are NOT compatible and may cause damage. Maximum supported capacity is 8GB.
Storage Interface Speed: Note that both the SATA and mSATA interfaces are SATA 2.0 (3 Gbps). This is sufficient for most embedded storage but is slower than modern SATA 3.0 standards.
Legacy I/O: The inclusion of a PS/2 port and multiple RS232 COM ports makes this board suitable for upgrading or integrating with legacy industrial equipment.
Power Supply: A stable, high-quality 12V DC power adapter is required. Ensure the power mode (AT/ATX) jumper is set correctly for your application’s power control needs.
