⚠️ Important Notes
CPU Platform & Performance: This board uses the older, integrated Intel® Bay Trail (Celeron J1900) platform. It is designed for entry-level to moderate performance tasks, not for high-compute applications. It is not user-upgradable.
Memory & Storage Specifications:
- Memory: Supports only DDR3L (1.35V) SO-DIMMs. Do not use standard 1.5V DDR3.
- Storage: Note that the SATA and mSATA interfaces are SATA 2.0 (3Gbps), not the newer SATA 3.0 (6Gbps). This is sufficient for many industrial storage devices but may limit peak SSD performance.
Operating System & Driver Support: While Windows 7/10 and Linux are listed, the older Bay Trail platform may have limited or require specific driver versions, especially for graphics and chipset features on newer OS releases (e.g., Windows 10 20H2+ or recent Linux kernels). Verify driver availability for your target OS.
Display Interface Options: The LVDS connector is for direct flat-panel connection. It can optionally be configured as eDP. Specify your requirement (LVDS or eDP) when ordering if using this interface.
Serial Port Configuration: The six COM ports default to RS232. The optional RS485 functionality for two ports must be specified at the time of order.
Power & Thermal (Fanless): The low-power J1900 CPU enables reliable fanless operation. Ensure adequate passive cooling in the final enclosure, especially when operating near the maximum temperature rating. The 12V power supply requirement is modest (recommended ≥ 36W).
