⚠️ Important Notes
CPU Compatibility: This motherboard supports 6th Generation (Skylake-U) and 7th Generation (Kaby Lake-U) Intel® mobile processors in a BGA package. Ensure you select a compatible CPU. The platform does not support desktop or later-generation mobile CPUs.
Memory Specifications: Requires 1.2V DDR4 SO-DIMM memory modules. Do not use 1.35V DDR3L or 1.5V DDR3 modules. For stability, use modules rated at 2133MHz.
Network Controller: Features Intel® i226 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet controllers. For optimal performance on 2.5G networks, ensure your switch, cabling (Cat5e or better), and drivers support 2.5GBASE-T.
Thermal & Fan Management: The included dual-ball bearing fan is designed for reliability. Ensure the fan is properly connected and that the system chassis provides adequate airflow for the selected CPU’s TDP, especially under continuous high load.
Serial Port Configuration: The six COM ports are RS232 by default. RS485 functionality is optional (2 ports default, up to 4 configurable). Confirm your required serial interface type when ordering.
Power Supply & Mode: Use a stable, high-quality 12V DC power adapter. The AT/ATX mode jumper must be set correctly based on your system’s power control requirements (e.g., soft power button support).
