⚠️ Important Notes
Configurable I/O (LAN & USB): This board is offered in several key configurations:
- LAN Ports: Choose from 2, 3, or 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
- USB Ports: The number of USB 2.0 ports (4 or 6) is directly tied to the LAN configuration (fewer LAN ports = more USB 2.0 ports).
You must specify your desired LAN port count when ordering, which determines the final USB port count.
CPU & Memory Compatibility: Requires a socketed Haswell-U/Broadwell-U CPU and DDR3L (1.35V) SO-DIMM memory only. Standard 1.5V DDR3 is incompatible and may cause damage.
Display Interface Options: The LVDS connector is for direct connection to compatible flat panels. It can optionally be configured as eDP (Embedded DisplayPort). Specify your panel interface requirement (LVDS or eDP) if needed.
Active Cooling Maintenance: The integrated dual-ball bearing fan is designed for longevity. In dusty environments, periodic inspection and cleaning of the fan and heatsink are recommended to maintain optimal cooling performance over years of 24/7 operation.
Serial Port Configuration: The board includes 6 RS232 ports by default. For RS485 functionality on 2 of these ports, this is an optional configuration that should be specified at the time of order.
Power Supply Sizing: When configured with 4 LAN ports and a higher-performance CPU (e.g., Core i7), ensure the 12V DC power supply is robust enough to handle the increased load (recommended ≥ 90W).
